Peter, born in London in 1963, now based in
Essex, studied for his Art Foundation course at
Southend-On-Sea College Of Technology and went on
to obtain a BA from the Norwich School of Art,
graduating with honours, in the mid-eighties.
In common with many Art Graduates, Peter struggled to find representation for his work and quickly resigned himself to a career outside the Art industry. Twenty years later, with a new resolve to succeed, he is painting full-time again and has worked on a number of commissions recently as a result of his activities on internet auction sites.
The painting, 'Contemplation', gave Peter his first competition success, winning first prize at the Braintree Summer Open Competition & Exhibition 2006.
